For the finale of the Romantic Dinner Bucket List tour, AY‘s Heather Baker and KARK’s Hunter Hoagland closed it out in style at Capers in Little Rock.

“This is the perfect place to end this segment — a beautiful atmosphere for date night,” Hoagland says.

The duo got things started with appetizers, with Baker falling in love with the Caprese salad, and Hoagland raving about the Crab Cake, which is served with a spicy three pepper slaw and lemon caper aioli.

Then there’s, of course, the Confetti Dip, a blend of garden fresh vegetables and cream cheese with just a touch of jalapeno for spice, which Baker calls a “staple” for Capers. And if the cake wasn’t enough crab, the pair also tried out the Marinated Crab Finger, a combo of crispy and sauteed crab fingers with garlic butter and lemon caper aioli.

“I have never had these before,” Baker says of the crab fingers. “And now, I think they’re one of my favorites.”

For the entree round, Baker and Hoagland try out a couple Capers classics — the Filet Mignon and Bone-in Pork Chop with cheese grits.

“These are two entrees that you definitely want to order,” she says.

On a slightly healthier side of things, Baker also praised the Grilled Salmon, a fresh filet on spicy tomato grits with spicy three pepper slaw and mango relish.

To complete the romantic night, the two finished things off with decadent desserts. Hoagland got his favorite, Chocolate Crème Brulee, and the Coconut Cream Pie was Baker’s “jam.”

That’s all she wrote for the Romantic Dinner Bucket List tour. Tune in next week to see what AY has in store for the March Bucket List theme.
