She recently hosted her first cooking class at Eggshells Kitchen Co. in the Heights. She taught the art of sous-vide cooking (that’s the fancy immersion circulator) to a crowd of 22.
AY Publisher Heather Baker and her mother Becky Hardwick were in the group, but it was Heather’s daughter Savvy who served as Lisa’s sous-chef.
They whipped up Asian influenced chicken thighs and rice with pickled vegetables plus peaches cooked in brandy in the sous-vide.
