It’s not often that I engage in social media and complain but this is an important issue.
I like to read magazines. I pick up my local magazines at Kroger while I shop. Often times, while strolling down the aisles, I run into neighbors who are featured in the pages of the magazines and we visit with each other.
In this hurry-up world, I consider Kroger stores a place for neighbors to gather and have a conversation, to get to know each other and share a cup of coffee.
Someone at Kroger’s corporate office in Cincinnati made a decision to abandon the distribution of all local publications. YOU will no longer be able to pick up magazines at Kroger.
Who made this decision? Who wants to take our local magazines away? I don’t think this is a good decision. If you agree, I hope you will join me in voicing your opinion.
