The Little Rock Farmers’ Market’s final Second Saturday event for 2022 is coming up on August 13. This month’s community partner is the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS), who will be featured for special programming events from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
CALS’ special events at Second Saturday will include:
- Grab-and-go activity bags for kids
- Information about summer reading and library cards
- “Be Mighty Little Rock,” a program to connect kids, teens, and families to free USDA summer and after-school meals, cooking and nutrition education, food security resources, and opportunities to play, eat, and learn.
Parking is always free for Farmers’ Market Patrons, and special VIP parking is available for senior and handicapped individuals. Inquire about parking at the River Market Parking Lot Kiosk.
