Things are getting spooky around Little Rock as Halloween approaches, especially around the Little Rock Zoo! They are bringing back Boo at the Zoo and other fun events that will make you feel like a kid again.
Boo at the Zoo is coming back – with a twist! For one-night only, the Zoo will be a haunt for adults! Take a trip on the haunted train or brave the haunted house. In between, make sure to fit in some trick-or-treating. Only this time, you’re trick-or-treating for delicious adult beverages instead of candy. The Boo at the Zoo Adult Night will be held Friday, Oct. 19, from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Make sure to bring an ID.
Get ready to walk on the dead side! On Sunday, Oct. 21., Michael Cudlitz, of The Walking Dead fame, will visit the Little Rock Zoo to meet and greet all his zombie fans. Take a selfie with Michael and get an autographed photo before you head into the Zoo Zombie Party. Although this is a family-friendly event, there will be adult beverages and zombies. Tickets are $50 and are only available online.
The zoo is the perfect stomping grounds for kids around Halloween. During Boo at the Zoo, kids will have the chance to trick-or-treat with others their age in a safe environment. In addition, there will be dozen of activities in a colorful botanical garden with Halloween-themed decorations. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to take that perfect Halloween selfie! Boo at the Zoo will be held Oct. 24-27 and 29-31. Tickets are $10-15.
Are you a Zoo member? Then get to the front of the line! On Thursday, Oct. 18, the Zoo will hold a Member’s Night, where you can receive a free Boo Bag. Tickets are $10.
