The famous McClard’s Bar-B-Q in Hot Springs has expanded its operations with the launch of a Little Rock-based food truck at 27 Rahling Circle (near the intersection of Chenal and Rahling in the Bone’s Chophouse parking lot). The first service starts Wednesday, November 18 at 11 a.m.
At this stage, the truck plans to primarily be stationed at the 27 Rahling location, but it will also attend various events, including private parties and catering events of any size.
As for the menu? It will be downsized from the original restaurant’s menu but will feature many of the fan favorites McClard’s is famous for.
You may remember that McClard’s Bar-B-Q recently sold. The addition of a food truck marks a big move for the new ownership group of Lee Beasley and Dean Jennings.
“We were presented with an opportunity to own the most iconic BBQ establishment in Arkansas and could not pass it up. We love the Little Rock restaurant scene and have witnessed the growing attraction of food trucks in the area. It also provides us with a great opportunity to offer McClard’s at various locations while we search for our first restaurant location,” says co-owner Dean Jennings.
