Courage. It takes a lot to stand up for yourself or others when the odds are stacked against you.

PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT:

Being a father. My children motivate me to work harder every day, and it brings me joy knowing that they are happy and loved.

FAVORITE PART OF YOUR JOB:

I get to take care of people. It’s really rewarding knowing you’ve helped someone or had a hand in getting them to better health.

PERSONAL MOTTO:

My mother’s uncle (who had a hand in raising her) did not have much of a formal education but was wise beyond his years. He once told me, “It don’t cost you nothing to be nice.”

ADVICE TO OTHERS:

Understand that it’s not a quick and easy road to get here, but you can do it if you’re willing to put in the time and effort.
