FIRST TASTE OF SUCCESS:

Bringing Wendy’s to Arkansas with Jerry Hamra in 1975 and being the No. 1 franchise worldwide.

PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT:

Raising four amazing children and building Taziki’s and Petit and Keet into “best in class” restaurants
with my sons Tommy and Jake, my daughters-in-law and wife.

SURPRISING FACT:

I have survived two airplane crashes and one airplane “incident.”

REMEMBER ME FOR:

Being a good dad and striving to be the best I can be at everything I undertake.

HOW HAVE YOUR EXPERIENCES SHAPED YOU?

My parents were an inspiration to me. They taught me to overcome difficult challenges and adversity with determination, faith and hard work. I have learned from my mistakes and tried to avoid repeating them.
