FIRST TASTE OF SUCCESS:

The first paycheck I received outside of the family farm: $30/day hauling tomatoes from the field. Hot work but great money for a 14 year old.

PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT:

My three kids — and convincing my wife to marry me.

FAVORITE PART OF YOUR JOB:

The entire process of working with clients to achieve their vision for their home. Whether they come to me on the front end of a custom project or they come to me later in the process, the collaboration to get to the ideal finished product is very satisfying.

LESSONS LEARNED FROM THE PANDEMIC:

The construction industry is the most resilient part of our economy.

FAVORITE HOBBIES:

Golf and duck hunting — I’m not very good at either of them, but really enjoy doing both.
