- After months of debate, Jonesboro officials have voted to rename Johnson Avenue in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
- State Police are investigating the death of Jeffery Scott Lueallen, 41 who died after running from Cross County Sheriff’s deputies. Lueallen’s cause of death is yet unknown.
