• A federal court of appeals upheld the lower court’s ruling that Arkansas’ work-requirement for Medicaid benefits was “arbitrary and capricious.” Governor Asa Hutchinson hopes that the U.S. Supreme Court will review the ruling. 18,000 Arkansans lost Medicaid benefits after the state instituted the work requirement, their future is unclear.

  • Over 1,100 current and former Department of Justice officials call for Attorney General William Barr’s resignation. These calls come after Barr lowered the recommended prison sentence for Roger Stone, one of President Trump’s campaign allies. The recommendation came after Trump tweeted that Stone’s sentence for lying to Congress and witness tampering.
