• UAMS opened its long-awaited Ronald McDonald Family Room last week. The Mcdonald House-funded space allows multiple families to stay in the hotel while their newborn is cared for in the NICU.
  • Lionel Morris died in an altercation with Conway police after Morris attempted to rob a HARPS. Officers who tasered Morris said he became unresponsive, later dying while in custody. Arkansas State Police are currently investigating.
