Valentine’s Day may be past, but we want to keep that loving feeling going. Thanks to the Central Arkansas Library System, you can keep your romantic mood alive for the rest of the month with the library’s Date Night Tuesdays.
Every Tuesday in February, the Ron Robinson Theater will screen a different romantic movie that is sure to delight you and your sweetie. This week, the library is showing the 1987 classic The Princess Bride.

The Princess Bride
If you’ve never seen it, then go watch it tonight! Framed around a grandfather reading a bedtime story to his sick grandson, the movie tells the story of a young farmboy’s love for Princess Buttercup and the challenges that face him in reuniting with his one true love.
Full of humor, adventure and heart, there’s a reason that this film is so beloved.
Next week, check out a more recent take on the romantic-comedy movie – Crazy Rich Asians. Starring Constance Wu from Fresh Off the Boat, this movie follows New Yorker Rachel as she navigates the world of mega-wealth in Singapore as she meets her boyfriend’s family.

Crazy Rich Asians
This is a wild ride of a movie, and it is both gorgeous and narratively satisfying.
Catch The Princess Bride on Tuesday, February 19, at 7 p.m., and watch Crazy Rich Asians on Tuesday, February 26, at 7 p.m. Both screenings will be held at the Ron Robinson Theater in downtown Little Rock. Tickets for both events are $5 apiece.
Also, don’t forget to check out the Robinson Theater’s other movie series this month – “Movies of a Movement.” This week, you can see Selma on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 6:30 p.m.
