If you haven’t heard, this month is all about romance at AY About You. For the latest — and Valentine’s Week — stop on the Romantic Dinner Bucket List tour, Heather Baker visited another Conway favorite: Pasta Grill.

“We had to stop at Pasta Grill,” Baker says to open the KARK segment. “I have never been here, so I am so excited to see what’s on the menu.”

To match the theme of the reason for this season, Baker is sharing her meal with a date this time around, and she’s planning on sharing some of the delicious food Pasta Grill has whipped up for her — well, she’ll share at least a few bites, that is.

She starts things off with a few of the eatery’s popular appetizers, like the Fried Brie Cheese, which is served with a cranberry raspberry citrus vinaigrette sauce; and a “spectacular” bowl of the White Cheddar Dill Soup.

For the entree round of romance, Baker is all over the Crawfish Cornbread, which looks and tastes just as good as it sounds. Roasted red pepper and cheddar cornbread is smothered with crawfish tails, shrimp, peppered sausage, artichoke hearts, baby spinach and cajun cream sauce. Her date was served the Shrimp New Orleans, which boasts lightly floured and pan-fried, cajun seasoned shrimp, green onions, artichoke hearts, bacon and alfredo sauce.

“You can’t go wrong here,” Baker says. “I love the ambiance, I love the food, I love the spices.”

Baker was also able to divulge in one of her favorite dishes of all time — Shrimp & Grits. It was a home run, as was the Grilled Salmon Pasta.

And as everyone knows, a true romantic night out is not complete without dessert. Baker and her date were very impressed with the Tiramisu and the Lemon Tart.

“Everything here is to die for,” she says. “I can’t wait to come back here. This is something you definitely need to put on your romantic list.”
