The Arkansas Food Hall of Fame is currently accepting nominations for its 2021 inductees.

Held by the Department of Arkansas Heritage, the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame has been honoring the best food, restaurant owners, and food events around the state for five years. In order to be considered for the Hall of Fame, restaurants must be owned and operated in the state, must have been open for at least 25 years, and not be a national chain.

The online nomination form will be open from Oct. 1-31. The Arkansas Food Hall of Fame also accepts nominations in four other categories than outstanding restaurants: Proprietor of the Year, Food-Themed Event, People’s Choice, and Gone But Not Forgotten.

The 2020 ceremony was held in February. Winners included Cattleman’s Steak House of Texarkana, restaurateur Scott McGehee, and the International Greek Food Festival.

This year has been particularly hard on those in the foodservice industry, so nominate your favorite restaurants, their owners, and food events in the state here
