Original Hot Dog Factory
UPDATE: THE Original Hot Dog Factory is reportedly eyeing a location for its Little Rock restaurant. Sources say the chain is looking at 400 N. Bowman Rd. Suite 28 and is planning for a July opening.
The Original Hot Dog Factory (HDF) will be establishing some roots in west Little Rock as early as the beginning of July. Little Rock’s franchise owner Devin Marcel announced on April 28 via social media that HDF’s new restaurant in Little Rock is official.
“I’m from Little Rock, and I love this city and how it makes us who we are,” Marcel told AY About You magazine. “If the homegrown people don’t bring new businesses and uplift our city, who will? We deserve everything and more that major cities have to offer, and that is why I decided to bring this fresh and exciting franchise to Little Rock.”
A popular Georgia chain, the restaurant gained significant business and fame when Real Housewives of Atlanta Porsha Williams’ fiancé Dennis McKinley took over the franchise. Since then, the HDF has been featured in several episodes of the Bravo show.
The hot dog restaurant boasts a vast menu, including classics such as an All-American or a Detroit Coney and HDF specialties such as the BLT hotdog, along with over 20 different topping combinations. In addition, vegetarian options are available.
“The Original Hot Dog Factory will be a place where families can enjoy a good meal that satisfies mom, dad and the kids,” Marcel said. “We want to create a culture where everyone can enjoy something about us, not just our delicious hot dogs. Whether that be our bar, sports atmosphere, date night vibes or a brunch spot, we want to be the fun place in the city.”
The HDF will offer pub-style seating, booths and lounge sections, along with an outdoor eating experience.
