It is my pleasure to share information about The BridgeWay with all of you. The past six months have presented unprecedented challenges for all of us and have been daunting at times; however, I believe they have made us stronger, both individually and as a team. We are hopeful that our enhanced growth and strength will equate to improved care quality for our patients.

We have had a few changes related to the services we offer at The BridgeWay since last year. In addition to inpatient acute psychiatric care for adults, seniors, adolescents and children, residential services for adolescents and addiction treatment for adults, we now offer an acute rehabilitation program for adults with addiction issues who need stepdown assistance between detox and the next level of care, which may be a referral to a long-term rehab program or an outpatient program.

We still offer Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) for both inpatients and outpatients and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) for both addiction and mental health. During the past six months, we have added the option of attending either IOP or PHP virtually. Our patients can either participate in person or join the sessions virtually, which offers more flexibility, especially for those who do not live in the immediate area.

We have been serving the people in our community and throughout the state for 37 years now, and we hope to continue doing so for many more years to come. It is an honor and a privilege to provide behavioral health care for those in need, and we do not take that lightly. We are committed to striving to continuously improve our services to the best of our ability and welcome any feedback to assist us with that mission.

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to read about The BridgeWay and its services.

“It is important that we all work together to combat the stigma that is unfortunately still present related to seeking psychiatric care if we are going to truly make a difference in saving the lives of Arkansans”
— Sherrie James, CEO
