This weekend was a cold one, wasn’t it? I got to thinking after I had whipped up a pot of taco soup, I sure would have loved some of the cheese bread I made years ago. It’s so warm and comforting. It’s high in carb, fat and flavor, which is why I eat everyday. Try this for a snack or to eat with your meal.

Ingredients:
3 cups of jalapeno monterey jack cheese, grated
1 4-oz can of chopped green chilies
1 cup of mayonnaise (I recommend Duke’s)
1 loaf of French bread, unsliced
Directions:
Mix the cheese, peppers and mayonnaise, blending well.
Spread on the cut surface of the French bread, which you slice in half horizontally.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes and cut into slices and serve hot.
