Love Thanksgiving but hate cooking? Sometimes, you just want to actually kick back and relax on the holidays instead of standing at a hot stove to make sure that the dressing cooks all the way through (because there’s nothing worse than undercooked dressing).
That’s where we come in. We’ve compiled a list of some of the restaurants throughout Arkansas where you can grab a bite (or a lot of bites) to eat on Turkey Day.
This list is by no means exhaustive. If you know of a place that is open for Thanksgiving, or you operate a restaurant that is open, let us know! You can email editor@aymag.com.
Without further ado, here’s your list of restaurants that will be open for Thanksgiving.
Applebee’s
Select Applebee’s locations will be open for Turkey Day. Find the closest Applebee’s to you here.
Arthur’s Prime Steak House and Oceans at Arthur’s
Both of the restaurants will have a brunch on Thanksgiving from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Adult prices are $55 and children are $19. Kids ages 5 and under are free.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Maybe wings are more your jam for Thanksgiving. In that case, head over to Buffalo Wild Wings – but call head first. Many will be open, but the hours may vary.
Cracker Barrel
Looking for a hearty meal? Cracker Barrel will have a Thanksgiving dinner at its restaurants, starting at 11 a.m.
The Crystal Dining Room at the 1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa
Don’t miss a chance to dine at one of the most famous hotels in Arkansas. The Crystal Dining Room will have breakfast from 8-10 a.m. and a feast from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., although reservations are required. To make reservations, call 877-342-9766.

Head over to Little Rock’s Marriott Hotel for a lunch and/or dinner buffet. Adult prices are $38, and children over the age of 5 are $19.
The Hive
This Bentonville favorite, located in the 21c Bentonville Hotel, will be having a feast prepared by six-time James Beard Award semifinalist Chef Matthew McClure. A four course table d’hote menu is available for $47-56 per person.
IHOP
Here’s another popular breakfast-oriented restaurant that will be open. Instead of turkey and dressing, you could chow down on a Rooty, Tooty, Fresh and Fruity.
Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa
Enjoy a lavish Thanksgiving dinner with smoked and traditional turkeys, along with hams, dressing, a soup and salad bar, and more. Adult tickets are $44.95, kids (6-12) are $19.95, and kids five and under are free. Call 870-867-2191 and ask for Ashley or Pati to make reservations.
The Southside Grill
Few things are better for Thanksgiving than a good buffet. The Southside Grill in Batesville will be serving up a full lunch and dinner buffet, as well as offering its full menu. Find out more about the restaurant here.
Starbucks
Not every location will be open, but select Starbucks will be open for Thanksgiving. While they don’t serve a turkey dinner, you could grab something hot to drink. Find your local Starbucks here.
Subway
Does a turkey sub count as a turkey dinner? We’re not sure, but you can grab one at Subway, and select locations will be open on Thanksgiving.
T.G.I. Friday’s
Don’t miss the potato skins on Thanksgiving!
Waffle House
This popular chain stays open 24/7, and they’ll be serving up their breakfast goods on Thanksgiving, too.
