Fall may be here, but I’m still up for iced coffee, aren’t you? Especially when caramel is involved.
My parents brought me some incredible coffee beans from their recent trip to Costa Rica, and it inspired me to create a slew of incredible coffee drinks for the fall season. This creamy caramel iced coffee is firing on all cylinders. Not only is it that sweet treat you need for breakfast, but it also helps keep you awake. Two-in-one, amazing.
I’d really suggest using your best coffee for this recipe, as this isn’t a coffee drink that drowns the coffee flavor in sugar. You can really taste the coffee.
The salted caramel sauce I use is a recipe that I’ve used for desserts, drinks and toppings for years. Here’s a link to it. If you don’t want to make your caramel from scratch (slackers), you can use store-bought caramel sauce that works just as well!
You won’t be disappointed when you’re whipping up a big ol’ batch of iced coffee. Guaranteed.
- ⅛ cup caramel sauce
- 3 cups freshly brewed coffee, cooled
- ½ cup cream
- Sugar, as needed
Fill 4 serving glasses with ice. Pour freshly brewed coffee into each glass until filled halfway.
Add in two tablespoons of caramel sauce into each glass and stir. Pour in ⅛ cup of cream to each glass and stir until combined.
