Need plans for this weekend? Rock Town Distillery has you covered. The company is throwing a party Saturday to celebrate seven years of making whiskey in Little Rock. You may have been on one of their tours or gone to a bottling party, but it wasn’t like this.
The distillery is offering free tours from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. during the day. A food truck will be standing by so you can have something to eat with all that booze.
Those who are serious about their whiskey can take part in a “seated educational tasting” hosted by the man who started it all, founder Phil Brandon, according to Rock Town’s website. While learning about the distillery, you’ll get to try several whiskeys, including a special 7th Anniversary Sherry Cask Wheat Whiskey.
The tasting starts at 6:30 p.m., but you’ll want to buy your tickets in advance. Admission is $40 per person.
For more information and a full list of whiskeys that will be sampled at the event, head to Rock Town’s website.
