Let’er buck! The 2019 NFC IPRA Rodeo also known as the “Rodeo on the River” in Ozark, Arkansas is riding back into town in June.
With the support of a vibrant community and wonderful sponsors, this rodeo has grown since 2015. The rodeo brings people of all ages, families, and rodeo athletes to the beautiful city of Ozark. Located on the Arkansas River, Ozark is surrounded by amazing wine country and is conveniently located near Highway 23 affectionately referred to as “Pig Trail,” which offers stunning views for any adventurer.
Get to Ozark early and explore the town before heading the rodeo. There are plenty of charming stores and spots to find a delicious dinner to keep you occupied! Afterwards, find a room at one of Ozark’s hotels or take a dip at the new aquatic center just down the road from the rodeo arena.
Once you have finished exploring, get your boots on and prepare yourself for a night of excitement at the North Franklin County Rodeo June 7-8. The rodeo begins each night with wild and wooly muttin bustin’ at 7 p.m. Get there early because you don’t want to miss the grand entry starting at 8p.m. which will include the NFC Rodeo Royalty, Miss Rodeo USA 2019 Heather Morrison, and much more.
A very talented and accomplished group of people will be providing the stock and entertainment this year. 21-time IPRA Stock Contractor of the year Kevin Hampton and the Hampton Rodeo Company will are providing the stock for the cowboys to compete on. Specialty act Colten Ulmer and his miniature horse will be bringing the laughs this year as well.
So save the date for the North Franklin County Rodeo on June 7 and 8! On Friday, the fun starts at 7 p.m., and on Saturday, the day kicks off with the Rodeo Parade downtown and rodeo again at 7 p.m.
