For 120 years, Methodist Family Health has cared for abused, abandoned and neglected children and families in Arkansas. In 2017, Methodist Family Health provided 195,000 therapeutic services to almost 5,600 clients because of the contributions Arkansans make each year.
Whether in our emergency shelter, group homes, residential treatment centers, behavioral hospital or outpatient counseling services, Methodist Family Health provides a continuum of care for the state’s children and their families struggling with psychiatric, behavioral, emotional and spiritual issues. Without the financial support of the friends and neighbors of our clients throughout the state, Methodist Family Health would not be able to rebuild the lives of children and families.
During Thanksgiving and Christmas, Arkansans can help the children and families in our communities by contributing to Methodist Family Health’s Share the Light Appeal. Funds and in-kind contributions like coats, personal hygiene products, books, toys and Christmas gifts help residents in the behavioral hospital, residential treatment centers, group homes, Arkansas Centers for Addictions Research, Education and Services (Arkansas CARES) and emergency shelter experience compassion and generosity for their communities.
There are several ways Arkansans can participate. To contribute financially, text the word GIVE to 501-254-6048, visit MethodistFamily.org and click on DONATE NOW, call 501-906-4209 to make a secure donation using a credit or debit card, mail a check to Methodist Family Health at P.O. Box 56050 in Little Rock, Arkansas 72215, or place a gift marked Methodist Family Health in the offering plate at any United Methodist Church in Arkansas.
