Let’s start out by saying Silver dollar City has a new eight story tree, which the Bakers absolutely love. The tree features hundreds of thousands of lights.
This year the park has 680 miles of lights, 1000 decorated Christmas trees, 600 wreaths, more than three miles of Garland and 15,000 yards of ribbon, as well as holiday entertainment, food, shopping and attractions. The Christmas in Midtown display includes 1.5 million LED lights with colorful, twinkling lights tunnels and lights displays including reindeer, stairs, snowflakes and more in this 70,000 square-foot area.
Once again my family asked to go see a Dickens Christmas Carol. And this year we added It’s a Wonderful Life, which was a incredible production.
They are wrapping up their Christmas season but do yourself a favor and add Silver Dollar City to your calendar for the 2020 Christmas season.
Now for the exciting news, Silver Dollar City announced that they were investing $30 million into a new park offering, the largest single year investment in their history, anchored by the debut of the Mystic River Falls, a new water raft ride which features the tallest drop in the western hemisphere which will open next year and we will definitely be at that.
