Heather Baker, AY About You President and Publisher, continued the Sports Bar Bucket List at another Central Arkansas favorite, Overtime Lounge in Maumelle.

“We are here at Overtime Lounge and they have not disappointed,” Baker said. “Beautiful location! And we’re talking about brunch right now.”

Ready for the ultimate sports bar experience, Baker first reached for the Overtime Lounge Fish Bowl.

“From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, they have this fish bowl that will not disappoint,” Baker said.

Next up, Baker moved on to the chicken and waffles. “I want to talk about chicken and waffles. That’s kinda my go-to when I go to brunch,” Baker said. “It is so good.”

After enjoying her go-to brunch food, Baker decided to try something new. “I’m going to dive into their waffle sandwich because I’ve never had that,” Baker said. “It’s totally one of my new favorites – sweet and savory, you’ve got the meat, the egg, the cheese. It is going to be on my list every Sunday.”

Satisfied with the waffle sandwich, Baker reached for the breakfast burrito. “One of the other favorites they have on their brunch menu is the breakfast burrito. This is a heartier meal,” Baker explained. “It comes with the tots, of course. You can tie this in with a mimosa or drink some punch. This is definitely one that you’ll want to try out.”

Moving on to more sports bar-like food, Baker tried the walking taco. “This is something I’ve never seen before – a Doritos bag with a walking taco in it. I am so excited to eat this,” Baker said. “I love tacos. Who doesn’t love tacos? Tacos are better than anything in the world.”

“They also have the Razorbacks going on,” Baker explained. “You do need to make reservations to come in and see that. You can come in here and hang out, they have pool tables, they have shuffle board, they have darts – everything you could want for any kind of sporting event.”

Before digging into the wings, Baker tasted Overtime Lounge’s homemade ranch dressing. “Now I’m going to go for the wings into the ranch,” Baker said. “It’s crunchy on the outside. That’s some good stuff!”

Baker tried Philly Cheesestakes at the last two bucket list locations, so of course, she was going to try out one from Overtime Lounge. “Hunter loves them, DJ loves them, do I love them?” Heather asked before taking a bite. “This is definitely one of their staples here. It’s good!”

And lastly, it was time to wrap things up with dessert! “That brownie is on point. I’m going to come here for dessert from now on – desserts, drinks, root beer floats,” Baker said. “And we’re going from cheesecake to cheese dip on the next bucket list, so tune in and we’ll see where we go!”
