This summer, Crystal Bridges invites you to explore indoor and outdoor exhibitions, art, sculpture, concerts, and more that will engage all your senses and inspire you to explore the natural world.
Discover two special exhibitions
Nature’s Nation: American Art and Environment: Similar to the mission of Crystal Bridges, Nature’s Nation illuminates the connection between art and nature. Featuring 100 artworks from renowned artists such as Albert Bierstadt, Charlies Willson Peale, Frank Lloyd Wright, Georgia O’Keeffe, Dorothea Lange, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, Ana Mendieta, Postcommodity, and more, Nature’s Nationtraces 300 years of evolving ideas about the natural world and our place within it.
Take a whimsical romp through Color Field, a new outdoor exhibition featuring large, colorful sculptures against a backdrop of Ozark forest. The artworks in Color Field invite viewers to engage all the senses, from Spencer Finch’s Back to Kansas, a billboard-sized grid gleaned from the artist’s own repeated viewing of The Wizard of Oz, to Sam Falls’s interactive sculptures that welcome viewers to explore color through sight and sound. Learn about color theory, interact with sculptures, see exciting work from today’s contemporary artists, and discover the impact color has on our lives.
See both exhibitions for the price of one combo ticket. Museum members, veterans, and youth 18 and under get into both exhibitions for free!
