For this Thirsty Thursday, AY About You sits down with Angel Locario, the front of house manager at the west Little Rock Bar Louie location and the office manager at the North Little Rock location.
Locario shares with us an interesting fact: every Bar Louie is located close to a mall in order to serve mallgoers as well as bar enthusiasts.
Bar Louie has a large alcohol selection, along with plenty of alcohol oriented events.

New Bedlam vodka, passion fruit, pineapple, lime, and a sidecar of bubbly
At any given time, Bar Louie has 23 to 27 different beers on tap, including a seasonal selection. Their beverages consist of local and trending drinks, such as Truly, and a variety of lagers. Bar Louie also sells martinis, wine, liquor and mixed drinks.
Locario gives us a closer look at some of the favorites at Bar Louie. One of these drinks is The Star, a new brunch drink made with New Bedlam vodka, passion fruit, pineapple, lime and a sidecar of bubbly.
Another new brunch drink is called the Sangria Roja, and comes in a glass or pitcher. It’s made with Effen blood orange, Salerno, hibiscus, and fresh oranges topped with Prophecy Pinot Noir.

The Pineapple Express sangria is another fruity glass that comes in a glass or pitcher. It’s made with Skyy pineapple, lime and watermelon syrup topped with La Marca Prosecco. “It’s my personal favorite– it’s so refreshing!” Locario adds.
Louie’s Cosmo is a classic spin on cosmos. It’s made with absolut citron, 03 orange liqueur, lime, cranberry and pure cane syrup.

The Clover, a favorite among male customers, is usually served on the rocks, consisting of Maker’s Mark, Courvoisier, lemon, orange and agave syrup.
The Diva is an iconic drink at Bar Louie, and is the top seller. The Diva is made with Skyy pineapple, Pama liqueur, pineapple juice and pomegranate.
Bar Louie is also known for its happy hours, Locario says. Happy hours are Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 7 PM, and late happy hours are Sunday through Thursday from 10 PM to closing.

During brunch on Saturday and Sunday, you can also get $4 mimosas. Bar Louie also has a patio, where smoking is allowed.
Locario highlights that at Bar Louie, there is no cover charge for any entertainment events, such as live music, and the bartenders make sure to care for their customers.
