It’s springing up all over in Arkansas. While it may be a dreary day, there’s no better time to try out a new drink, especially at one of Arkansas’ premier spirits makers: Rock Town Distillery.

Every Thursday, we bring you the best drinks and beverages from around the state. Of course, we enjoy partaking too! That’s why we were looking for the perfect spot to hit up this evening for Thirsty Thursday.

Fortunately for us, Rock Town supplied the answer.

First off, you can’t go wrong with this Little Rock mainstay. There’s a reason they’ve been nominated for or awarded virtually every major spirits award around. They’re just that good. You might not know that they don’t just manufacture spirits but have their own bar inside their facility, where they give tours and teach some great cocktail-making classes.

Head to Main Street in Little Rock to check out the bar and their great menu – you won’t regret it.

But on to Thirsty Thursday!

When we were browsing the interwebs, we stumbled on Rock Town’s Twitter feed, showing two outstanding-looking drinks. One is a pale yellow with a layer of froth and a massive lemon slice hanging on the slide of the glass, while the second is a luminous orange drink, also with a layer of froth, that just begs to be drunk.

Turns out, the yellow drink is Rock Town’s Goosebumps, while the orange drink is called Wuthering Heights. It sounds like someone is a literary fan over at Rock Town.

The Goosebumps mixes lemon vodka with an egg white, Midori, Ancho Reyes and lemon juice. The Wuthering Heights combines bourbon, red wine, egg white and raspberry mint shrub.

These are two wildly different drinks – so you definitely have your pick with these two. While we’ve never had a drink that mixes bourbon and red wine, it sounds like a winner. It looks like our plans for Thirsty Thursday are locked in now.

If you head by Rock Town, grab and drink and let us know what you think!
