TGIF? More like TGITT (Thank Goodness its Thirsty Thursday)!

For the last Thirsty Thursday of July, AY About You is taking a peek at a Little Rock classic, Guillermo’s Gourmet Coffee.

Guillermo’s, located right off the interstate on Rodney Parham, made its Little Rock mark in 2006 and is currently owned by father-son duo, Jim and Josh Alley.

Although the shop’s location is close to a hustling and bustling part of Little Rock, Guillermo’s Gourmet Coffee is tucked away from traffic in a friendly atmosphere. Pair the shop’s peaceful location with its gourmet, one-of-a-kind brew menu for the full Guillermo’s experience.

“Our biggest thing is that we roast our beans,” Guillermo’s manager Lindsey Kendrick says. “Our roasters sit right at the front of the house!”

In addition to locally-brewed beans, Guillermo’s is stepping up its summertime sip game weekly.

“For our summer drinks, we are doing a lot with cold brews and blended beverages,” Kendrick says.

Although selecting the perfect summer sip is a tough decision at Guillermo’s, Kendrick suggests trying one of its caramel mocha frappuccinos, cold brews with lush cream or iced blueberry Roobios tea.

If you prefer do-it-yourself coffee made at home, pick up some of Guillermo’s Gourmet Coffee locally roasted beans.

“We sell whole beans or can ground the beans in-house for you. We also flavor house beans with hazelnut, snickerdoodle, and more,” Kendrick says.

In addition to coffee, Guillermo’s offers a wide variety of tea selections and blends. Kendrick suggests trying the turmeric ginger lemonade when visiting.

If wanting to pick up a brew or some beans, anyone is welcome to do so with curbside pick-up, patio seating and delivery for online-purchase bean orders.

Guillermo’s Gourmet Coffee is open Monday through Saturday from 7-2 p.m.
