Old Dominick Honeybell Citrus with blue curacao

This week’s Thirsty Thursday at AY is all about great cocktails at The Library Kitchen and Lounge in Little Rock for a great cause — promoting awareness about men’s health through the Arkansas Urology Foundation.

The Library Kitchen and Lounge has partnered with Memphis-based Old Dominick Distillery to create three signature cocktails for the event tonight (June 18).

Rob Byford, owner of The Library Kitchen and Lounge, is excited about having this event to promote men’s health awareness. He says 50 percent of the proceeds from tonight will go back to the Arkansas Urology Foundation. The three signature cocktails will also be available all week with $1 from each sale donated to the foundation.

“We are hoping for a good turn out while still being remindful and respectful of everything around us,” Byford says. “We will have live music and good food with both indoor and outdoor seating. There are fans circulating around to make sure it’s nice and cool for everyone.”

Old-Fashioned made with Old Dominick Huling Station Bourbon

The three signature cocktails will have spirits from Old Dominick Distillery.

“I’m from the Arkansas Delta and Old Dominick Distillery in Memphis actually reached out to me a long time ago about supporting each other, so I figured this event would be perfect to get together for,” he says. “The Distillery was started by an Italian immigrant family who settled in Memphis and created handcrafted spirits.”

One of the signature cocktails will have the Old Dominick Honeybell Citrus with blue curacao for a refreshing “tropical, citrus flavored drink.”

Cocktail with spiced coconut rum

Another cocktail will be the smoked old-fashioned made with Old Dominick Huling Station Bourbon served in a smoke box.

The third signature cocktail will have spiced coconut rum.

Be sure to stop by either tonight or this week to check out these three signature cocktails and support a great cause!
