So, I recently celebrated a milestone in my exercise regiment. Four or five times each week, I walk/jog 4 miles. It usually takes me about 58 minutes. I received a word of advice from a trainer recently and shaved 6 minutes off my time!!! Woo hoo! Two days later, I trimmed the time by 32 seconds. Another victory!! However — you knew it was coming, didn’t you? — my body was totally wiped!
Tomorrow morning, I will be right back at it (I don’t work out Tuesday mornings as my day begins an hour earlier). And if I needed a bit of inspiration, I certainly got it, when I opened an email promoting the story of Ms. Ernestine “Ernie” Shepherd. All I can say is: Thank you, Ms. Ernestine! I will be thinking of you as I push myself even further tomorrow!
