The Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub is hosting a Hands-on Harvest Fest as part of 3rdFriday Art Walk.
Participants can collect candy while making cool Halloween decorations in the Hub.
You can make a Halloween t-shirt, decorate a pumpkin, make a laser-cut mask, make pumpkin posters and cards, create pottery monsters, participate in a costume contest and more.
An activity pass for all activities is $20. Entry is $5 for just candy and snacks. Wear a costume to knock $5 off the activity pass.
The Hub, which opened in 2014, has screen printing, carpentry shop, metal shop, ceramics, printmaking, computer equipment and more.

Ballet Arkansas is kicking off its 2019-2020 with the classic tale of “Sleepy Hollow.”
It is based on the classic 1820 story “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” by Washington Irving.
Irving’s story is about a schoolmaster, Ichabod Crane, who is in love with the daughter of a wealthy man in Sleepy Hollow, a town that is said to be haunted by the Headless Horseman. On an autumn night, Ichabod has a run-in with the Horseman.
However, this will be BA’ own interpretation of the story.
The show features original choreography by Ballet Arkansas executive director Michael Fothergill.
It will feature unique multimedia effects created by Cranford Co., including photo and video projections and 360-degree sound. The videos were filmed at the Historic Arkansas Museum and Allsopp Park.
Tickets are $10-35.

Carol Dabney is a children’s author and illustrator who is the music teacher at Saint Mark’s Day School in Little Rock.
Carol plays the ukulele and takes it to all her events. (Her family moved to Hawaii in the 1980s.)
While you’re at Good Earth, make sure to pick up a fresh pumpkin.
When you’re picking a pumpkin, make sure that its shell is hard enough to protect it, but you still need to be able to cut through it to carve.
