What: Not-Quite-Holiday Film Fest: Gremlins
Where: CALS Ron Robinson Theater

If you’re in the mood for a great holiday movie, you need to check out the Not-Quite-Holiday Film Fest. This week, the CALS Ron Robinson Theater is showing Gremlins. Find out what happens when you feed these little critters after midnight or when you get them wet. It’s a great Christmas movie that’s not really a Christmas movie. Admission is $5, and holiday-themed concession specials will be available! Doors open at 5:530 p.m. and the film starts at 6:30 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 21
Where: CALS Children’s Library and Learning Center
When: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m
Find out the true meaning of Christmas with the Grinch! The CALS Children’s Library and Learning Center is throwing its annual holiday party, and they’ve invited you to the fun! Come dress in your best Whoville costume and sing Christmas carols and make fun holiday crafts. You can even take a picture with the Grinch himself. Storytime tickets are sold out already, but there’s plenty of fun to be had at this party. Admission is free.
What: Savanna Safari
Where: Little Rock Zoo
When: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Explore the wilds of the world from the comfort of the Little Rock Zoo. This week, your intrepid explorer can go on safari in the savanna, as they learn about the amazing animals that populate this region. They will learn about zebras, cheetahs and more extraordinary animals as they go on guided tours and do hands-on activities. It’s a can’t-miss camp for your young one. What: S’Mores and Pours: Longest Night
Where: Stone’s Throw Brewing
When: 5-8 p.m.
Head over to Stone’s Throw Brewing to celebrate the first day of winter with some delicious brews and snacks. Toast the coming of winter with a beer or with a freshly toasted marshmallow. The brewery will have a marshmallow roast set up on the biergarten, and it is sure to be a roaring good time! S’mores kits will be available for $3 for one or two for $5.
Saturday, Dec. 22
What: The Nutcracker Circus
Where: Maumelle Performing Arts Center
When: 6-10 p.m.
Experience a new twist on a holiday classic! In this production of The Nutcracker, you will witness tremendous acrobatics, aerial students and other impressive feats. Saturday, Dec. 22-Sunday, Dec. 23
What: Finding Neverland
Where: Robinson Performance Hall
When: 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Take a trip to Neverland this weekend with the newest musical to come to Little Rock. Discover the backstory of J.M. Barrie, who created Peter Pan and the land where people never grow up. This heartwarming and heartbreaking musical tells the story of how Barrie meets four young boys and their mother, who help inspire his writing. In turn, he helps them believe in the power of imagination again. Make sure you catch one of the four performances this weekend, it is a must see! Tickets are $33-80.
Sunday, Dec. 23
What: Holiday Brunch and Browse Pop Up

Need a last minute gift? Then stock up on some delicious specialty brews and apparel at Lost Forty Brewing! Of course, while you’re shopping you’re going to be working up an appetite, so make sure to stay for a great brunch. At noon and 1 p.m., you can take a free tour of the brewhouse to find out how these geniuses make delicious beer right in Little Rock. It wouldn’t be Christmas without a good present giveaway, would it? Every hour, Lost Forty will give away a prize to a lucky customer. Don’t miss out on this holiday party!

Christmas is a time for merriment, and there’s no better way to spread joy than with a good party! Head over to the Little Rock Marriott for the 9thannual Jingle Mingle, a premium party experience. Cocktail attire is required, and the party is limited to ages 25 and older; identification is required. The Jingle Mingle committee is donating canned goods to the Food Bank at St. Mark this Christmas, and they are requesting that every guest bring five canned items.
