Come out to this family-fun event for tasty food and samplings from some of the great eateries in the Hot Springs area. Admission get guests beer, wine, food and soft drink samples. Science After Dark returns this Thursday night with Combust a Move! The night will be full of dancing, explosions and (of course) fire. Arkansas Circus Arts’ Rachel Newell and Kyle Owen will come and perform. This event is sponsored by Fassler Hall Little Rock, Dust Bowl Lanes & Lounge, Rock Town Distillery and Stone’s Throw Brewing. The School’s Out Late Skate Party is this weekend at Arkansas Skatium for an evening of roller skating and ice skating, but also dodgeball, broomball, games & prizes and more! Join in on the fun to celebrate the start of summer! Admission costs $15.

What: John 3:17 Ministry Fundraiser

Where: Benton Event Center

When: 4:30 p.m.

John 3:17 Ministry will be holding a fundraising event at the Benton Event Center, with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. The event will include a fish fry catered by John 3:16 Ministries. Tickets for the event are $10, corporate sponsorships are $1,000, and reserved tables are $400. John 3:17 Ministry is a faith-based recovery facility for women in Jackson County that is free for residents.

The Arkansas Travelers are playing the Tulsa Drillers for a three game series this weekend. Bring your dog Friday night to help Dizzy celebrate his second birthday and those 18 years and older will have a chance to win a TV on-field after the game. Saturday night is the 7th Annual Faith & Family Night and there will also be a Prostate Cancer Awareness Jersey Auction happening as well. Kids will have the opportunity to run bases on Sunday. When: 9 a.m. – The Running of the Tubs: Bathhouse Row, 11 a.m. – Awards Ceremony:  Hill Wheatley Plaza

Come out to Bathhouse Row this weekend in Hot Springs this Saturday for the 14th Annual Stueart Pennington World Championship Running of the Tubs. This free and family friendly event features costumed teams racing their wheeled bathtubs through Hot Springs! Guests attending are encouraged to bring water guns as well as any additional bath equipment; shower cap, robes, etc.

What: Yoga in the Gardens

Where: Garvan Woodland Gardens- Klipsch Amphitheatre

When: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.

Diana Esanu will be teaching a five-part yoga series at Garvan Woodland Gardens this Saturday! The class will involve gentle poses, uplifting breath work, skillful stretches and affirmations. A 10-minute guided meditation will follow. Admission is $15 for non-members and free for members. Guests must register prior to the class and are required to bring their own mat. Register online.

The CommUnity Block Party is this weekend in Geyer Springs! This event will feature inflatables, door prizes, carnival games, food trucks and Q&A with city officials including Mayor Frank Scott, city manager Bruce Moore and police chief Keith Humphery. Love Your Dog Day is at the Promenade this Saturday for a giant pet adoption

The Little Rock Polo Classic is this Saturday at Windrush Polo Farm to benefit Hope Rising Children’s Home! All Team Bash is this Sunday at War Memorial Stadium! This festival of car clubs is geared to positively gather the automotive community. Dj MadEFX will be spinning tunes at this event and will also feature a live performance from hip-hop artist Nex2C. Meet people while barbecuing with your friends! What: Gangsters & Gals Roaring 20s Benefit

Where: The Old Bank Sports Grill

When: 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

CASA is hosting its first annual Gangsters & Gals Roaring 20s Benefit this Sunday at the

Old Bank Sports Grill! The benefit will feature dancing, live music and appetizers. Menu options will be available for purchase.  This Roaring 20s themed party costs $50 to attend and will benefit CASA of the 5th, a local non-profit with volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children in foster care.
