Are you strong in the Force? Dickey-Stephens Park is hosting a special Star Wars event.
There will be Lucas Films-approved Star Wars characters around the park.
Before the game, there will be a “Jedi Training” class hosted by a Jedi Master. Learn the ways of the Force and how to use your light saber in a 30-minute lesson in center field.
The pre-game Jedi Training ticket cost is $20. It includes a light sword and a ticket to the game.

Regular tickets to the game are $6-12.
The Travelers will be playing the Tulsa Drillers starting at 7:10 pm.

Taste of the Rock brings restaurants, caterers and more from across Little Rock in one spot. Restaurants will go head-to-head to be named the best of the best in the city. Attendees must be at least 21 years of age and bring ID in order to be served adult beverages. Advance tickets are $30 and tickets the day-of are $35. Click here for tickets.

What 61st Delta Closing Party
Where: Arkansas Arts Center
When: 7 p.m.
The Arkansas Arts Center is hosting the closing party for the 61st Delta Exhibition.
There will be hors d’oeuvres, drinks and live music by Isaac Alexander.
The exhibit closes June 30.
Tickets are free for AAC members and $10 for non-members.
The Delta Exhibition was founded in 1958 as a “vision of contemporary art in the American South.”
There are 50 artworks by 49 artists, representing 10 states. The exhibition is open to artists who live in or were born in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas.
This year, the grand prize winner in the exhibit was Mabry Turner of Little Rock.

What: Introduction to Beekeeping
Where: UA-Pulaski Tech

UA-Pulaski-Tech is partnering with Midwest Master Beekeeper Program to offer this one-day beginning beekeeper course.
During the class, students will learn about the history of beekeeping, honeybee biology, planets and pollinators, and essential equipment.
COST: The course is $61. The cost includes a beekeeping book that is often used as a study guide for examinations.
Did you know? Beekeeping dates back at least 4,500 years.
Roughly 1/3 of all food that Americans eat is a direct or indirect result of honey bee pollination.
At peak population, a honey bee colony has around 60,000 to 80,000 bees.

What: Beginner Sugar Cookie Class
Where: Art Is In Cakes, Bakery Supply
When: 10:30 am
This class will teach you how to make backyard burgers but in sugar cookie form.
Students will learn the basics of flooding, wet on wet design and how to create texture in baking. They will also learn more about icing and how to manipulate icing consistencies.
By the end of the class, you will have a full set of sugar cookies.
The class is for bakers 12 years and older. Children ages 8-11 may purchase tickets when a registered adult is attending with them.
Tickets for the class are $65. The cost includes all materials needed for baking.
Bring an apron (they will applaud the cutest dressed) and a 10 box to carry the cookies home.
The class will be held at Art Is In Cakes, Bakery & Supply, 9807 W. Markham St.
Cookies date back to 7thcentury Persia but modern-day sugar cookies were created by Protestant settlers in 17thcentury Pennsylvania.
July 9 is National Sugar Cookie Day.
