Friday, Nov. 2
What: Vegas on the Rocks
Where: Cache Restaurant
When: 6:30 – 11 p.m.
Calling all high rollers! Vegas is coming to Little Rock for one night only! Women and Children’s First is hosting its annual “Vegas on the Rocks: A Chance for Change,” which raises funds to support WCF’s mission of providing services to domestic violence victims and survivors. There will be dancing, complimentary beer and wine from 6:30-8 p.m. and gourmet snacks, a silent auction, and of course, casino gambling. General admission tickets are $50, and there is a limited number of VIP tickets for $100.
What: Little Rock Night Market
Where: The Bernice Garden (1401 Main St., Little Rock)
When: 5- 9 p.m.

What: 2018 Komen Arkansas Race for the Cure
Where: Downtown Little Rock (Broadway St. between Capitol and 4thSt.)
When: Events start at 6:30 a.m.
Support breast cancer survivors this Saturday with the annual Race for the Cure in Little Rock. The competitive run starts at 7:30 a.m., while the 5K and the 2K start at 8 a.m. Registration for adult, survivor and virtual participation is $30, and youth participation is $20. All registration on the day of the race is $30.
What: Chili Fights in the Heights 2018
Where: Kavanaugh Boulevard in the Heights Neighborhood
When: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Get ready to fight in the Heights! The Chili Fights in the Heights will be this Saturday, and the best chili will be crowned by the end of the day. Enjoy live music and family-friendly activities, starting at 2 p.m. Beer and wine will be sold during the event, along with tasting kits. Chili Fights in the Heights is organized by the Hat Club along with the Heights Neighborhood Association and the Heights Business Association, and raises money to support the Arkansas Foodbank. Last year, the event generated $20,000 for the foodbank. Admission is FREE.
What: Arkansas Whiskey Festival
Where: Clinton Presidential Center
When: 4-7 p.m.
Experience the finer things in life at the Arkansas Whiskey Festival. During the festival, you can sample whiskeys from around the U.S., including local favorites from Rock Town Distillery. What: Breath of Life Gala
Where: Statehouse Convention Center

Celebrate another year of progress towards a cystic fibrosis cure at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s annual Breath of Life gala. This black tie-optional gala features a cocktail hour and dinner, along with a silent and live auction. During the evening’s program, Mike and Anne Preston will be honored with the Breath of Life award for their contributions and community leadership. End the night right by dancing it away!
