  • The Downtown Little Rock Partnership announced today that its 10thAnnual Main Street Food Truck Festival is cancelled due to COVID-19. The festival was originally planned for this coming September.

 

Café Bossa Nova closing down due to possible COVID-19 exposure

  • Café Bossa Nova will be closing temporarily after an employee has reportedly been exposed to the virus. According to a social media post, a Café Bossa Nova employee notified managers that his roommate had tested positive for COVID-19. The post stated that the employee had worked two shifts at the restaurant and had adhered to all mask and social distancing guidelines during that time.

 

Conway requires masks in essential businesses

  • Conway is now the newest Arkansas city to mandate the usage of masks, by requiring individuals to wear face coverings in inside “essential” businesses.

 

Country music legend Charlie Daniels dies

  • Charlie Daniels, a country music and southern rock legend, has died by a hemorrhagic stroke, according to his doctors. Daniels’ publicist, Absolute Publicity, announced this morning that he died at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry member was 83.
