New Ulta Beauty store coming to Little Rock

  • There will soon be a second Ulta Beauty in the Chenal Commons shopping center. According to a public document from the leasing property management group, Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, the new 11,500 square-foot store will be right in between Old Navy and David’s Bridal.

 

New statewide survey shows more Arkansans wearing masks

  • State officials unveiled a new poll on Wednesday, July 8 that provides a snapshot of Arkansas residents’ attitudes toward the COVID-19 pandemic and the guidelines governing the recovery. Of the 600 Arkansans surveyed, 82 percent reported that they wear personal protective equipment like masks in public.

 

Daughter of veteran receives binder and pictures decades after his passing

  • Susie Reynolds Reece from Bryant was talking about her father on a radio show when a man called in and claimed to have known him and was holding on to a binder and pictures that he hoped to pass along to his family. After losing her father to suicide when she was just ten years old, Reece was able to connect with her father through his past.

 

Arkansas summer camp closes due to positive COVID-19 cases

  • Camp Ozark, a large Christian summer camp in Mount Ida, has closed after several campers and staffers tested positive for the coronavirus, according to state officials.
