  • Less than three weeks after the North Little Rock City Council announced that the city would host the state’s newest entertainment district, the Argenta Outdoor Dining District is open. The Argenta Outdoor Dining District is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

 

Family of George Floyd visit Arkansas, encourage citizens to vote

  • George Floyd’s aunt and cousin visited Little Rock this past Saturday. His aunt, Angela Harrelson, claimed their purpose for coming was to “encourage people to vote, so change can continue to happen across the country.”

 

Cirque Italia Water Circus to come to Fort Smith this weekend

  • Performing Friday through Monday, the Cirque Italia is bringing their all-new “Water Circus Silver” show to the Central Mall parking lot in Fort Smith. The Italian entertainment company operates with a strict animal-free policy. Tickets start at $10, and one free child admission is included with purchase of an adult ticket.

 

Starbucks barista receives close to $80,000 in tip

  • Lenin Gutierrez, a barista at a San Diego Starbucks, asked a customer to wear her mask. After enduring some frustration, the customer posted a photo of Gutierrez on Facebook. The video went viral, and supporters began donating to a GoFundMe in his honor. As of this morning, thousands of people have donated nearly $80,000 in virtual tips.
