Holidays in the Wild
The Little Rock Zoo is open this winter for holiday festivities! Take pictures with Santa and some animal friends in Cafe Africa. Attendees will create crafts and be provided with a breakfast or lunch buffet.
Following the event, Santa will deliver gifts to the animals. Event dates are December 8 and December 15. Breakfast is served at 10 a.m., and lunch is served at 1:00 p.m.

Winter Zoo-Fari
The Little Rock Zoo is hosting “Winter Zoo-Fari” camps for kids ages 5-8 years old this winter. Participants will meet and learn about many different creatures and wildlife as they explore the section of the world that is covered the day they attend.
December 20 – Jungle Adventure
In “Jungle Adventure” campers will learn about jungle creatures like gorillas, jaguars and elephants as they chart their course through the layers of the rainforest.
December 21- Savanna Safari
In “Savanna Safari” campers will learn about the extremes animals go through in order to survive in places like South America and Africa.
December 27- Desert Trek
In “Desert Trek” campers will learn how deserts form, how wildlife and plants survive in the desert and meet some of the animals that are from this harsh part of the world.
December 28- Ocean Expedition
In “Ocean Expedition” participants will learn about habitats found in fresh and saltwater and learn about the animals that reside in these environments. They will also learn how water from rivers flow the ocean and how they can help save the animals that live in these habitats at home.
January 2- Backyard Hike
In “Backyard Hike” campers will learn about the plants and animals living in the Natural State. They will learn why habitats in Arkansas are unique and what they can do to help wildlife that live near them
