Have you ever dreamed of judging a Food Network cooking show, where you get to watch the chefs as they craft beautiful meals and then taste each dish?
You might not be the next Food Network host, but you can do the next best thing. One lucky winner will have the chance to sit in the kitchen during the annual Diamond Chef competition at University of Arkansas – Pulaski Tech.
AY Magazine is giving away two Chef’s Table tickets to this exclusive event. How exclusive is the Diamond Chef competition? Well, there’s only 20 seats in the kitchen, and what’s more, the tickets aren’t for sale. The tickets are valued at $500 apiece.
Of course, you won’t just be watching them cook. You’ll actually get to taste what the chefs are preparing! Each chef will receive a mystery basket of ingredients and will have to prepare a dish. Attendees will be served plated dinners and adult beverages. What a great night!
Food is one of the main focuses at AY Magazine, and our magazine is proud to partner with the University of Arkansas – Pulaski Tech to make this great event happen. “We’re so excited to be the executive chef sponsor of the Diamond Chef competition,” AY Publisher Heather Baker says.
To enter to win the Chef’s Table tickets, go to AY Magazine’s Facebook page and name your favorite Arkansas chef or restaurant. You will need to share the post and tag three people.
The contenders for the 2019 Diamond Chef competition are Chef Brandon Douglas, Green Leaf Grill; Chef Izaak Winter, Yaya’s Euro Bistro; Chef Joseph Coleman, Little Rock Marriott; Chef Jordan Davis, Chenal Country Club; Chef Amanda Ivy, Sauce(d); and Chef Jamie McAfee, Pine Bluff Country Club.
The Diamond Chef competition will be held April 11, at 6 p.m., at the UA – Pulaski Tech Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management Institute in Little Rock.
