Women of OZ NWA is bringing together industry leaders and top cycling coaches for its inaugural Sunset Summit on Sept. 16 and Sept. 17. The full weekend of events will feature rides, clinics, workshops and panel discussions, all with the aim of building community and breaking down barriers for women in cycling.
The summit will be held in Bentonville – a city widely regarded as the mountain biking capital of the world. The event kicks off on Friday evening with a welcome reception and panel discussion at the Thaden School. On Saturday, participants will gather at The Momentary Green to experience different coaching styles through morning and afternoon workshops.
In the afternoon, coaches and attendees will socialize over food and drinks at Bike Rack Brewing before heading back to The Momentary to enjoy a concert by two-time Grammy-nominated indie pop artist Japanese Breakfast. The event will close with a sunset champagne toast.
“Hardtail” general admission is priced at $259 and includes merchandise, free drinks and a VIP ticket to the concert. “Full Suspension” VIP admission costs $499 and includes everything in the general admission package, along with an upgrade swag bag, early entry into the panel discussion and an OZ Art Bike Tour.
To promote inclusion for women of all backgrounds, a limited number of scholarships to the summit are available.
Details and ticket information can be found on the Women of OZ NWA website.
