It’s common knowledge that the late Betty White could hold her liquor like a champ. Although her successor, Little Rock Zoo’s Betty White the penguin, cannot sip on fermented beverages, she makes for the perfect chaperone. On Sept. 15, the Little Rock Zoo is hosting a craft beer fest called “Zoo Brew 2022,” where guests are encouraged to “Party Like an Animal.”

Guests will have the opportunity to taste dozens of brews in personal souvenir cups while meeting the residents of the zoo, listening to live music, enjoying some of Central Arkansas’ favorite food trucks and participating in competitions.

Given that the event is centered around brews, guests must be 21 years or older to enter with a valid ID. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Arkansas Zoological Foundation for the continued development of the zoo.

Visit the Little Rock Zoo website for more information about Zoo Brew or to purchase tickets in advance.
